Meet the Diet Pulpit Founder:

Lady Rose, along with her family and friends are dedicated Health Warriors, (not health nuts, not that there is anything wrong with that). Her mission is to help others put health as their #1 priority.

She may not take herself too seriously, but Lady Rose is serious about her goals and strives to do her best to bring a light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek perspective to the otherwise drudgery on the quest for a healthier lifestyle, dieting and exercise, with witty humor and informative tidbits, that are (she hopes) entertaining and useful to readers. Meet the cast of characters behind the scenes:

Teacherman – handsome husband of Lady Rose; he has the patience of a saint with an awesome sense of humor, which he needs since he is often called upon to help maintain Lady Rose’s sanity and focus, plus he’s an awesome cook (his specialities are soups and chili).

Angelgirl – daughter of Lady Rose, a bright, active, multi-talented young lady (turned 12, May 2008), earned her black belt in karate Fall 2007.

Mama Kelly – She has reached the mid-life years (35+), happily married for over 10 years to her childhood sweetheart (they met over 20 years ago), a proud mom to two awesome young ladies, and the real life best friend of Lady Rose (for almost 20 years). She has recently started night school to get a teaching degree (Spring 2007). A long time dieter since childhood who lost her way, but now is back on track.

Note: Lady Rose and Mama Kelly, are the co-founders of Incredible Shrinking Ladies, started May 1, 2006, blogging their journey back to health (their goal to lose over 100 lbs each), July 2007 they invited several awesome ladies to join in the fun.

Gamer Dude - cute husband of Mama Kelly; he is also sometimes affectionately referred to as her long-haired-hippie-freak-hubby-dude. A kind and loving soul who’s support and affection knows no bounds.

Miss Angst – oldest daughter of Mama Kelly, a creative young lady with a talent for drawing, writing and annoying mom as only a young teen can.

Princess Nibbles – youngest daughter of Mama Kelly, a gentle sweet soul, with a gift to bring sunshine to any room she enters.

Mei Mei – the newest member joined the staff as our relaxation coach on June 28, 2007 – her purring and playfulness are her biggest talents.
