DON’T BE A FOOL - EAT FOR FUEL!
(Our Lady of Lards)
What’s the Diet Pulpit all about?
It’s about no more diets - just LIVE - instead of dieting, focus on getting healthy (no matter what your size). It’s about changing your attitude and creating the lifestyle you were meant to live, making your health your number one priority, feeling good about yourself (no matter what numbers are on the scale), with a lot of silliness, a plethora of information, and a bit of fire and brimstone tossed in just for fun.
Blogging with Fattitude - what does it mean? It means blogging with a fabulous, awesome, tenacious attitude, with a goal to grabbing all the gusto there is to grab out of life, accepting oneself as is and not afaird to blog about it, and a determination to get healthy no matter what it takes!
NOTE: Diet means any food and\or beverage that is consumed. Pulpit means a preaching position. What are we preaching - Don’t be a fool, eat for fuel. Make healthy choices, get fit - NO matter what size!
Here at The Diet Pulpit we promote health and fitness regardless of size, and encourage size acceptance. From our Pulpit (soapbox) we promote a holistic approach to getting healthy in body, mind, heart and spirit. We offer a buffet of topics served with wit and humor, spiced up by tackling current issues and fat facts, and garnished with useful infomation and the occasional oddity.
(FYI: We are not here to tell any one what to eat or what size is right for them - we want folks to be healthy and happy, to be able to do the things they enjoy and live life to the fullest and sometimes that does mean losing a few pounds, but the numbers on the scales are NOT what is important - it’s about how YOU feel, your energy, your blood pressure, your body - if you feel good, healthy and happy that is what matters!).

Welcome to the best place on the web for health and diet seekers, fatbloggers, and all those fighting the battle to be healthier - together we can win the battle, share recipes, swap stories, have a few laughs and perhaps even drop a little fat!
In a world that is filled with health and diet myths, lies, and confusion, we strive to bring common sense and laughter to health seekers every where. Building a community where all diet transgressions are forgiven, temptations are resisted, miracles of the scale are shared, recipes are reborn, honesty challenges accepted, halo blog awards and blog carnivals are enjoyed.
In the beginning: The Diet Pulpit began with a vision on the first day of Spring 2007, as a result of a diet-induced, spring-fevered vision from above and launched April 1, 2007. The holy spirit of the Diet Pulpit revealed to Lady Rose that her mission in life would be to preach the truth that in order to achieve wellness you must feed your body, mind, heart, and soul with quality, nutritious selections. Instead of unhealthy foods, stuff yourself with Health, Happiness and Humor - the keys to a fulfilling life, a healthy lifestyle, and successful diet! Hallelujah!
The Diet Pulpit will teach you about the Tao of Weigh, how to live life with a new F.A.T. attitude! and guide you through the valley of temptations and show you the way to fight back the terrors of hunger, cravings, and binges and win the battle of the pudge. Hallelujah!
Want to Convert and be Reborn (and get healthy)?
* Renounce now all diet fads, diet myths, diet lies, and false advertisers. Shun all demons of trans fat, fructose, and fried foods. Empty your pockets of half-eaten candy bars, gummies, and twinkies. Cleanse your kitchens (and all secret hiding places) of lard, cake mixes, potato chips, corn dogs, alfredo sauce, and other unclean foods. Leave these remnants of your former transgressions at the altar of the Diet Pulpit and be cleansed and forgiven. As the burden of your transgressions is lessened, so shall the flab around your girth be diminished.
