Diet Pulpit - The blog with fattitude!, motivation and health-filled information served with a dollop of humor and a side order of fire and brimstone. Inspiration to put health first, eat responsibly, create the healthy lifestyle that is right for you, accept yourself as you are, and live the F.A.T. attitude (fabulous, awesome and tenacious!). This blog is calorie free! Hallelujah!
Journaling my life’s adventures, silliness, ups and downs, and real life drama (past and present) as I work on reaching my goal to live to 100 and beyond (and maybe even lose a pound or two along the way), clear my house of clutter (or at least most of it), find my bliss (and truimph over depression), and along the way enjoy the moment and appreciate each day.
Put Health first, NOT size. Yes, this blog promotes eating healthy along with exercise and fitness (motto is: Don’t be a fool, eat for fuel!). Yes, this blog celebrate miracles of the scale and talk about diets because sometimes losing weight is part of getting healthy, and it also celebrates all health and fitness goals. Whatever the numbers are on the scale or measuring tape are not what is important. What matters is how you feel in your body, mind and spirit.
If you are interested in arranging a (free) review (for book, blog, product, etc.) feel free to contact me.
What’s it all about? (brief summary)
It’s about no more diets - instead Get healthy!. It’s about changing your attitude and creating the lifestyle you were meant to live, making your health your number one priority, feeling good about yourself (no matter what size you are), with a lot of silliness, a plethora of information, and a bit of fire and brimstone tossed in just for fun.
This blog promotes health and fitness regardless of size, and encourage size acceptance. From the Pulpit (soapbox) what is promoted is a holistic approach to getting healthy in body, mind, heart and spirit. Through offering a buffet of topics served with wit and humor, spiced up by tackling current issues and fat facts, and garnished with useful infomation and the occasional oddity.
Be sure to check out the TABLE OF CONTENTS to read about all the fun and features here at the Diet Pulpit, i.e. categories, blog carnivals, fatbloggers united community, etc. For more details see: ALL About the Diet Pulpit and the Tao of Weigh.
NOTICE: No fat cells were harmed in the making of this blog (though a few may have shrunk.)

Letter to all our Readers:
The most important part of the Diet Pulpit is ALL OF YOU. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for joining me in the mission to putting your health first (size doesn’t matter), learning to eat for fuel (don’t be a fool), and stamping out “fat hate” and promoting size acceptance. I value your feedback, suggestions and opinions so please leave comments so I can make the Diet Pulpit the best it can be for everyone to enjoy.
Weight and Size are merely ONE small part of who a person is - NOT a reflection on character, will power, or intelligence. What is more important is health, happiness, and enjoying your life - not any number on a scale or tape measure. Weight issues are complex and not just caused by over indulging in food. The Diet Pulpit does promote making healthy food choices and fun activity as part of an overall goal of getting healthy, but each individual has to decide based on their unique needs, physical condition, and circumstances what is best for them and set their own goals for dieting, exercise, and life changes.
I try not to take myself too seriously, and I do make a joke or two (well a lot of them actually) to bring a bit of humor to the otherwise dull topic of health and diet - but I have the utmost respect and admiration for everyone who faces health challenges, but in spite of their obstacles take the necessary steps to live their life to the fullest.
BEFORE STARTING ANY DIET OR EXERCISE PROGRAM
SEE YOUR DOCTOR!
