Mama Kelly and I are working on moving our coauthored blog “2 Witches Blog” from its current location on free wordpress to it’s own domain.  Scheduled grand opening is Nov. 1, 2008.  I’ve been working about 5 or 6 hours a day on it all week so my brain is fried and my eyes are very tired.  (For a sneak peak at the NEW location click HERE (only front page for now is online)

When I found out my hosting company allows me to have a second domain on my account at no extra cost I was thrilled because we have wanted to move 2 Witches Blog to our dot com since we first started.  

We have been blogging together about 2 years so there is a ton of stuff to be moved.  The first step was laying out the framework for categories, pages, etc. so we can keep everything organized and have it easier to navigate around the site for our readers. With two people writing a blog together it takes a lot of coordination to keep things organized. 

This week I’ve moved over 90 pages of information, created a few new pages.  We have only moved over a few posts so far, but we figure the posts we can do gradually over time and those don’t all have to be done before our grand opening.  We still want to enhance the pages, add more information, etc.  We also have to be sure every link works, everything is crossed link properly, and a million other details.

A lot of my blogging time and energy for awhile is going to be focused on getting all the groundwork set up over there.  But it will be so worth it!  And we are both excited and thrilled.

 A HUGE shout out and thank you to the “blogging grand wizard” Saphrym for all his help and creative genius in taking our design ideas and making them a reality and also for setting up all the behind the scenes coding, plugins, etc. that just make my head all fuzzy and confused.
