Remember last month when I posted about Teens Striping for Charity - well I’m am happy to report that the voices of reason were heard and now the Charity lets you ___(blank)_____ for Charity. You fill in the blank with a fun, safe “IT” that you want to tape yourself doing and send it in. You can video tape yourself doing almost anything - singing, juggling, jumping rope, dancing, or anything else creative, fun and safe. I think this is so awesome, because now I want to plan something with my daughter and make it a fun family event that we can all do together to help clothe folks who need it.
Two thumbs up for this creative idea, and three cheers for changing it so every one can particpate and feel good about spreading the word.
About 2 weeks ago Mama Kelly posted about this also. She then followed up and found out that by July 21st they changed the program from Strip2Clothe to Blank2 Clothe, I feel proud to have been part of the movement that spoke out against the campaign in it’s original formal.
The new format for the program is definitely something I can give my full support to and many, many more donations are now possible for this great cause. In just one week they were able to generate 15,000 items of clothing for homeless youth.
I recommend every one take a minute and go watch a “fun” video at Blank2 Clothe, and remember every time a video gets another 5 views, it “earns” another piece of clothing.
