What a fun and very full weekend it has been.

I managed to sort several more boxes on Saturday – resulting in 2 huge bags of trash, 3 boxes for charity and\or possible ebay items, and several empty boxes.

I was only able to work at the sorting for 4 hours instead of the scheduled 5, because I was just too sore and hurting all over. But Miss Artistic, my best friend’s daughter who was here to help me for 5 hours agreed that for her last summer visit, which is an overnight, we will tack on an extra hour (working 3 hours on both days). She is helping for a total of 20 hours this summer, for which she is earning payment that is being used to pay me back for a loan I gave her. The last weekend is an overnight so that I can take her out for a very big brunch to thank her for all the hard work.

After all the sorting on Saturday, I quickly showered and piled Miss Artistic and Angelgirl (my daughter) into the car to drive Miss Artistic home and I then got to spend the rest of the day with her mom and my best friend, Mama Kelly. Our monthly visits are are a special treat for the both of us and we always pack a lot into them. This visit we had time to make plans for the big move of our co-authored blog 2 Witches Blog from free wordpress to it’s own domain, ideas for writing and future projects, completed the weekly Tarot readings for Stir the Cauldron, discussed the two Goddess books we are reviewing for 2 Witches blog, and the 2 cookbook books I have to review for here, and still had time to laugh and be silly too.

Sunday morning I spent sipping coffee with Mama Kelly, going over last minute blogging plans, jotting down notes for even more ideas and inspirations.

I arrived back home about noon time today, and found my daugher Angelgirl happily reading a book, Twilight  (Book 1). She was very excited and smiling and couldn’t wait to tell me all about it. Her dad had gotten it for her the day before and she had already finished half (and it’s a thick book).  (Note: I will be posting more about the book tomorrow.)

The three of us went out for a nice lunch together. Angelgirl brought her book (Twilight) with her everywhere, reading at every opportunity. We made a quick stop at the craft store and a few other stores looking at school bookbags (none were “just right”).

As the weekend winds down, I have some time to sit and gather my thoughts.  I’m so tired and sore I can barely move.  But I’m filled with happy thoughts, smiles, and love after a wonderful weekend shared with my friends and family.

I hope every had an awesome weekend too.

Health and Happiness, Lady Rose
