Be honest now, and tell me the truth.
I started this blog a little over two years ago (it has over 750 posts now). I have been blogging here every single day for several months now.
I have a few other blogs too, a total of 5. For three of these I co-author them with my best friend, and only one is considered our main blog and is updated daily. The other two of the five blogs I write, I update every three days (though when necessary it could be a bit longer). Along the way I’ve started a few other little blogs, but ended not developing those very much – not enough time or energy to it all.
Have you noticed since you started blogging that as you go about your day you see things differently now? Are you noticing people and details more and thinking “hey, that would be a great blog post!”?
When you are around others, and something happens or someone does something have your family and friends said to you, “you better not post that on your blog!”?
Do you have slips of paper every where, napkins, sticky notes, etc. with scribbled ideas for posts?
I can answer yes to all the above. How about you?
I don’t think I’m addicted to blogging, (perhaps that is a sign that I am). I could give it up, I just don’t want to. And I haven’t started every single blog that I have thought of, so I do have some self-control.
Here is just sample of some of the ideas for blogs that I would like to do some day by I haven’t – perhaps when I retire, so don’t go stealing them!
Blog Title: I Meant To Say
(or What I REALLY Meant To Say Was!)
A place to vent all the things you wished you had said, wanted to say, need to say, but for various socially-politically correct reasons couldn’t say out loud. Sharing personal stories and readers could submit their own (anonymously) to be posted.
Blog Title: Dying To Get In
Title based on the old joke: Why do cemetaries have fences around them? Because people are dying to get in.
Tribute to beautiful cemeteries and headstones – photos, headstone sayings and quotes, historical information, hauntings, eulogies, poems, funeral service and arrangement options, famous funerals and funeral speeches.
(Note: I love cemetaries, I have a whole photo album I put together for an art class once and some of the art you find in cemetaries is really beautiful.)
Blog Title: Raised by Wolves
Share stories of wacky family life and why you believe you were raised by wolves, switched at birth and\or otherwise don’t fit in with your family. Sharing personal stories and readers could submit their own (anonymously) to be posted.
So do you think I blog too much? Is there such a thing as too much blogging, or do you think “the more blogging the better”? Is too much blogging a bad thing?
Am I addicted to blogging? Are you? When does blogging go from being a hobby to an obsession?
To many questions…and not enough time to blog about them all!
(mmmmm….a blog about blog addiction **jots down notes**)

Where in the world do you find the time???
I’m trying to work on a second blog and find that I get so engrossed that I forget about the blog I currently have up and working.
I’d really like to know how you stay organized with time and materials not to mention ideas.

I simply lost count of how many blogs you are writing now. Sincerely, how many? Can you share that number with us?
2 years? Wow.. I can say you are a dedicated blogger. I don’t know whether you are obsessed or addicted. But, if your close one (family) said saying don’t write about that in blogging in sense of humor, that is fine. If they mean in serious way, then I think you might get addicted in blogging.
The topics are cool, especially “Raised by Wolves” can write about United State warriors kind of blog.. The title is strong.
Don’t worry, I won’t steal your title. Lolz.

Greetings Mama Flo – I run on very little sleep and a lot of caffeine
And I’m definitely not all that organized. Though I have recently started keeping a private blog where I jot down notes, keep draft posts, important links, etc. – using tags and categories it is helping to a lot to keep things more organized.
As far as ideas – I think blogging helps keep me sane, because it gives me an outlet for all the ideas that go through my brain every day. Granted there is a day or two now and then when I can’t think of a thing to write – but those are pretty rare.
Good Afternoon Loiz – I have 5 blogs. This one is my main blog. The 2nd main blog is 2 Witches Blog (coauthored with my best friend Mama Kelly). A 3rd blog we also coauthor Stir the Cauldron is about Tarot – but I have been doing most of the posting on that one (every other day). The 4th blog (Enchanted Cauldron) is mostly our daughters’ creative projects and writing, updated every 3 days. I have two more blogs devoted to Entrecard: Entrecard Favorites (updated every 3 days) and Entrecard Cookbook – which is only temporary while putting together the collection of submissions of recipes and creative writing from Entrecard members – so that one really doesn’t require writing posts (but will require editing, proofing, etc when it comes time to publish the ebook).
I think the family and friends are half serious when they say “don’t post about that in your blog” – so does that mean I’m only half addicted?

Congratulations!
No, your doing well with a daily average! That’s something to say for two years running. Some overkill, some lose track regularly.
I have…had the opportunity to hear someone say ‘not on your blog’, but more apt to listen to people giggle when I pull out my PDA and they mention I’m about to blog.
Non-bloggers are such silly people. Here’s to another year, kiddo!

I just think you are crazy, period but that is a very nice place to be, I know, I’m crazy too!
I have enough trouble keeping up with 2 blogs and can’t seem to post to either one daily so I have no clue how you do it. It’s crazy enough writing posts and promoting the blogs so you must be tired with 5 blogs!
You do a great job, keep it up!

Lady Rose — the blogs that you have thought up sound very cute and original — I wish I were so creative with blog titles
Since blogging is so personal (well unless you’re one of those who seems to only have a page full of ads and no content!), I guess your answer is going to have to be found in your tarot cards.
For myself, keeping up with 4 blogs is more than I can handle and that’s even with one of them being a photo blog! With 3 of them on Entrecard, that adds hours per day of maintenance. While that’s worth it in some respects, it’s still a big commitment when you have family, pets and other obligations.

I must agree however, you are a bit addicted when I see the names of future blogs. That’s OK, we are addicted to reading your writings!

I am only a part time blogger and for me, my two blogs are enough. However, I decided to add another one using WP but not a member of EC.
So how one can say that he or she is overblogging? I think if you are already a prisoner of your blogs but you do not realize it.
That is, if your health is trimming down and you do not have time to relax anymore.
By the way, your ideas for your next blog are great. It seems that you have many things to share.

Hiya,
You have content and you stream your ideas. All good stuff! As far as getting into a new blog, kudos to you if you can do it and have the time. I have been wrestling with idea of starting one just about those women’s issues and topics, but building a base and following requires more time I don’t have.
I just started to follow your blog and I think it has a lot of great information and insight. No, I don’t think you blog too much. I think you blog enough and consistently, that’s a good thing.
Write On!

LOL I can definitely say yes to the first and third question. But I don’t divulge any personal details about anyone in my stories so they don’t have to tell me the 2nd thing. lol
You’re a genius and naturally crazy. I don’t think I could find the time to do even half of what you do!!

Angel – I do try to keep everything in balance (though a bit more sleep would be good), blogging is relaxing for me, helps clear the mind.
Amy – I have a digital camera, but haven’t learned to use it yet – I really should! I get my daughter to do photos for me now and then
Farida – thanks for the encouragement!
