DO NOT DISTURB: CHOCOLATE FANTASY IN PROGRESS
This week my refrigerator is rapidly being filled to the brim with chocolate goodies of various sizes, shapes, and textures; each one more delicious then the next.
This week, Angelgirl (my 12 year old daughter) is taking a summer chocolate cooking class at College Camp and every day she is bringing home containers of various chocolate treats - chocolate dipped pretzels, chocolate chip banana muffins, chocolate chocolate-chip cookies, brownies, etc. I wonder what she will bring home tonight. Luckily it is only a 5 day class.
To help me resist the temptations I decided a little humor might help. Here is an excerpt from Diet Humor & Jokes (by Daniel Worona)
- When no one understand you, chocolate is there.
- Seven days without chocolate makes one weak.
- The 12-step chocoholics program: never be more than 12 steps away from chocolate.
- Chocolate is cheaper than therapy, and you don’t need an appointment.
- There is nothing better than a good friend, except a good friend with chocolate.
- Chocolate doesn’t make the world go around, but it certainly makes the trip worthwhile.
- And on the eighth day God created chocolate.
- If there is no chocolate in heaven, I’m not going.
- In the cookies of life, friends are the chocolate chips.
- Those calorie-free sweets taste great dipped in chocolate.
- There are two food groups: chocolate and fruit, and if it is fruit, it should be dipped in chocolate.
- Chocolate . . . it isn’t just for breakfast anymore.
She gets to bring the recipes home at the end of the week. Perhaps next week I will tempt you all by posting a few.

OOOOH that gives me an idea - perhaps we can bring the ingredients for one of the recipes with us on Saturday and the girls can bake together! I am thinking “photo op” and blog post. LOL And it would be great fun too.

mmm chocolate… There is a sweet shop right by where I live and when the wind’s right, the streets smell like brownies in the oven. Luckily, I can get high off fumes only
