I’m home with the family after an awesome overnight visit with Mama Kelly.  It was a great visit with ideas and inspiration flowing, laughter and giggles erupting, and creativity  running amok.   I have tons of notes and things to do, but we both agreed that we are not going to stress ourselves out, no crazy deadlines or pressure, but rather we are going to enjoy the journey as we work to take our joint project to the next level – which is to move 2 Witches Blog to its own domain.

It was also fun to remember our trip to Womon Gathering, and made some plans for saving money and ensuring that we are able to attend next year.

Miss Artistic (Mama Kelly’s eldest daughter) will be visiting me for four Saturdays this summer to help sort out the junk!   I’m thrilled to have the help.  Mama Kelly and I have promised each other that we will keep encouragingin each other to sort a little at a time.  As we sort this summer by September we will take our boxes of “treasures” to the eBay store near Mama Kelly’s house and let them do the selling.   Whatever we make from the sales we will use for our trip to Womon Gathering.  So that is a nice big incentive to get the rid of the junk – Love, Use It,  Donate it, Toss It, or sell it to help pave the way for next year.    By keeping these categories in mind, I think I can definitely keep on track and make a big dent in the junk piles.

So for the next few months MY HOUSE IS ON A DIET.   No more junk allowed in, and lots of sweat and manual labor to get the old, useless or unwanted junk out.

I was thinking of taking some before and after photos.  So let me know (leave a coment) if you are interested in seeing just how BIG the piles of boxes and junk are.  If there is enough interest perhaps you can all persuade me to put some pictures up on the blog. Of course it may take a lot of persuading (so the more comments the better) - after all to publically show off my junk and messiness,  means I better have some after photos to show later on so I can prove I made some improvement.
