After Tuesday’s post on Food Porn, I thought I should focus on some healthy, low calorie snacks for the Thursday 13 this week.
13 Ultra Lo Calorie Snacks, 75 calories or less
- 1/2 cup of blueberries only have 37 calories

- 1 cup cucumber has 14 calories
- 1 cup cubed honeydew melon has 60 calories
- 1 medium peach has 37 calories

- 1 cup of air-popped popcorn has 30 calories
- 1/4 cantaloupe has 30 calories

So what you’re really telling me is that I should become a fruitarian? Cause only fruit could have this small amount of calories!

I love this post… it’s all about the choices we make isn’t it?
I’ve also heard that celery is actaully a “negative” food - meaning that it takes our body more calories to digest it than the food itself provides.
Anybody know if there is any truth to that?
Namaste,

Those were great, but who can eat a half a cup of watermelon or half of banana? Maybe it was a misprint and it was supposed to be half a watermelon and half a bushel of bananas. LOL
