I happened to see a tv commercial the other day for an online service that provides legal documents and saves you lots of money too. I was highly skeptical, but since I have had “get my will done” on my to do list forever, I decided what the heck I’ll check it out. I was totally surprised how easy and affordable it was. Within 10 minutes I had 80% of everything all filled out, and the only reason I didn’t finish is because I didn’t have all the information with me at work.   One of the nice features is I can save everything I had done, sign out, and come back to it later to finish.   It’s so easy I’m going to have my hubby get his done to this weekend.

It has all the options you need for this type of document.  We can even set up a guardian for our daughter, and there is an option to make a list for specifics items and last wishes for arrangements.

I know wills are not the most pleasant subject - but they are extremely important.  Getting your will done really gives you peace of mind, especially if you have children.   Also some states (like here in New Jersey), if you don’t have a will the state government makes all the deicisions, ties up your estate for a very long time, and takes a huge chunk of the assets as their fee.  So not having a will, leaves your loved ones without access to your funds for a long time and with a lot less then they would have had.

Legal Zoom’s service now makes it doable by everyone.  There are no more excuses for putting it off.  It’s easy, very affordable, and painless to do.  They also offer online living trusts, trademarks, copyrights, divorce, name changes and more, all at very affordable rates.
