I hope everyone got their taxes done by midnight last night. If not, what are you doing reading this blog post - go file your taxes!
This was our first year getting them done on time in over decade and it felt great! We always get a federal refund so it’s not terrible if we are late, but the state always snags us for a bit of interest on what we owe them (which isn’t much, but enough to be annoying).
Who knows perhaps I am finally back on track and will get the tax return done on time from here on. Anything is possible!
