I want to share with all of you one of those wonderful moments that happens between a mom and her daughter.
The other night after dinner (skinless chicken breast and aspargus), I was thinking about having a little plain air popped popcorn (measured portion and within my daily limit of calories). So I was verbalizing my thoughts — should I or shouldn’t, do I really want it, I feel like a little much but I don’t know, etc.
My daughter looks up from her homework and says very politely, “Close your eyes.”
So I do.
She says, “Now are you hungry?”
I say, “No, not really.”
She says, “Then don’t have the popcorn. If you’re hungry eat, if not don’t.”
I gave her the biggest hug and told her how proud I was of her and she was absolutely right.

That’s so intuitive of her. We’ve been watching Paul McKenna’s “I can make you lose weight” and Bruno’s memorized the show. I was sitting on the bed Sunday and said “I’m hungry.” Bruno said “Eat when your hungry and eat intuitively. Stop when you’re full.” He’s turning into Paul McKenna.
