Angelgirl took some nice photos the day before Easter and Easter morning, here’s the photos of the egg decorating. I’ll post a few more tomorrow.
Saturday we dyed eggs so they would be ready for the Easter Bunny to hide them overnight for our traditional egg hunt in the morning. Mei Mei, our cat, helped out by watching over the egg decorating process.

She gave the eggs a final once over and a good sniff and gave them a paws up.

All together we had 18 decorated eggs, here are a few.

Here is a lovely wooden egg that Angelgirl painted and decorated with a Giant’s Superbowl theme for her daddy, Teacherman. The back includes the date and the score too.

What truly beautiful eggs these are. I love the pastel colours. It’s good to see a focus on non edible items. I ate way too much chocolate and must of put on lbs. I will be off it for a while anyway.

Thanks for stopping by Lilly. I’ve always tried to have a more nonedible goodies in the basket then candy. Dollar stores are great for little things to add to baskets. As Angelgirl gets older though, the nonedible items aren’t always as inexpensive, but as she gets older the need to have the Easter bunny fill a big basket will lessen, and a smaller basket with just a couple nice things will take it’s place.
