In celebration of turning 50 this year (Nov. 22), Jamie Lee Curtis is appearing “topless” on the cover of AARP magazine, May/June issue. All I did when I turned 50 was get my first tattoo. I’ve always admired Jamie Lee Curtis, and now I admire her even more. She so totally rocks!
Here’s a quote from her: “I want to be older,I actually think there’s an incredible amount of self-knowledge that comes with getting older. I feel way better now than I did when I was 20. I’m stronger, I’m smarter in every way, I’m so much less crazy than I was then.”
I can’t wait to read the whole article.

She did a spread back in 2002 to show what it really takes to make someone cover ready … in this specific case 3 hours and 13 people …

I always say if I get a tattoo it will be a little red scorpian very low on my back right above my, uh um, crack. That wayI can say,”Yes I do have a bug up my butt!”
I’m staring down 50 as we speak…I figure I’ll have to think of something wild to do. How about nude from the neck up?

I love Jamie Lee Curtis. She’s not afraid to face getting older, maybe that’s why she doesn’t look 50 at all.

She admits she has gone under the knife to improve her looks. “I’ve had a little plastic surgery. I’ve had a little lipo. I’ve had a little Botox. And you know what? None of it works. None of it.”

MisFit - I don’t hold it against for trying a bit of nip and tuck. I totally admire her though for being to accept herself as she is now. We are all in the process of becoming the best we can be and we all change - so if before she felt she needed nips and tucks so what.
Teddy - I tried the link but says something about registering domains. I’ll exchange links - but need to have one that goes a blog or website.
