It’s that time again to blog naked and bare the naked truth of my weight this morning standing on the scale naked. (Just feeling a bit silly this morning and seeing how many times I can use the word naked in a post.)
Weight: 223 gain 8.5 lbs (since yesterday)
Food this week was on track - plain oatmeal for breakfast and lunch, apples for two snacks a day, and dinners were either individual servings packages of salmon, flounder, or skinless chicken and various steamed veggies. Except for yesterday - we had an unexpected snow day and I didn’t have to go into work and hubby and Angelgirl were out of school. As a treat I had a couple of diet sodas and a slice of pizza for dinner. The overnight gain of 8.5 lbs is most likely from the added sodium.
Not going to let it ruin my day or throw me off track. Today I am going to visit my best friend Mama Kelly for an overnight. We both have very busy lives, and she lives about 45 minutes away so we only get to visit about once a month. I really enjoy our visits, we talk and laugh for hours, it’s great. I’ll be packing up my own food for the weekend so I won’t be tempted to not follow my food plan.
Update: Latest edition of Carnival of Tips is posted.

I am just in awe of your weight loss. I started at 225 and have made it down to 196.4. I started on May of last year.
Good luck. Stop by my blog sometime.

Dieting sucks. I wish I had your enthusiasm. I keep changing my mind about the way I want to lose weight and I can’t stick with anything to save my life.

I admire your persistence. I’ve just lost 42 pounds and finally feeling better than I have in more years than I care to admit. It’s definitely not easy.

[...] Just two more days until my next weighin. I don’t know exactly what the scale will say - but I know it won’t be a loss (I can tell I’m still retaining a lot of water, and probably gained some more since last week). [...]
