The best way to resist temptation is to not be hungry and to satisfy your nutritional needs as well as your taste buds. One way to do that is to be smart about your choices. Here are a few ideas to get you started thinking smart:

Replace 1 cup whole milk (150 calories); with 1 cup non-fat milk (90 calories).

Replace 2 eggs scrambled with 1 pat butter and whole milk (261 calories); with 1 egg, 2 egg whites, scrambled with skimmed milk (with 0 calorie butter-flavored spray) (144 calories)

Replace 6 oz cream of chicken soup (245 calories); with 6 oz chicken noodle soup (80 calroies)

Replace 3 Cups Microwaved Caramel Popcorn (280 calories); with 3 Cups Air-popped Popcorn (90 calories)

Replace 1 ounce regular bacon (165 calores, 14 grams of fat); with 1 ounce Canadian bacon (50 calories, 2 grams of fat) or Louis Rich turkey bacon 35 calories, 3 grams of fat.
