Weight: 214.5 same as last week.
Which is just fine with me (it means I did not gain anything from edema). The scale is only a tool, like a blood pressure cuff or a blood meter to read blood sugar. The scale is a useful tool that can give you a small piece of information about the status of your health - it is not a reflection of your worth, or the kind of person you are, or the quality of your life.
I am feeling like Rocky! The stress test was a success yesterday. I doubled my time on the treadmill (last time almost 2 years ago I barely lasted 3 minutes, this time I lasted 7 1/2 and the medical staff said I did great!). My blood pressure has also improved a lot too, only 117 over 68 (compared to 2 years ago when it was usually around 192 over 95) . I’ll post more details about it tomorrow and about my weight gain issues and health issues, but for today I just want to celebrate getting healthier!
Update: The latest edition of the blog carnival “Carnival of Tips” has been published.

Good for you on the treadmill test–I’ve heard that how long you last is a really great measurement of overall fitness and healthiness.
And I think you’ve got the perfect attitude about scale numbers vs health. Too many people get confused about which is the most important!
