Saturday’s outing to Philadelphia was a lot of fun.  We took the train in to Philadelphia and walked to restaurant – it was about 6 or 8 blocks, which were fine but the stairs up from the train station and back down were a bit rough on the knees.  At the restaurant I had steamed chicken with mixed veggies (yellow squash, asparagus, carrots and others).

The result the next day (Sunday) on the scale was a 5 lb gain – my guess from the walking and stairs.   I rested, took a few extra aspirins since then and managed to drop those 5 lbs of water weight.      I’ll be sure to mention this incident as well to my cardiologist on Friday when I go for the stress test.

Food wise this week I’m sticking with 2 servings oatmeal, 2 apples, 1 serving individual serving packets of flounder, or salmon and or skinless chicken breasts, 3 – 5 servings steamed veggies.
