We will be celebrating the Chinese New Year this weekend with our annual lunch get together with our China Group.
In Oct. 1996 we all travelled to China together to become a family and pick up our baby daughters. Every year all 8 families get together at a wonderful Chinese restaurant in Phildelphia. The restaurant owner knows us after all these years and has become a part of our extended China “family”, the girl’s all call him Uncle Charlie, and we always make sure to have a group photo taken of him with our daughters. It is a truly awesome experience to see how much the girl’s have grown and catch up on all the wonderful news from everyone. It is always a great time and all the feelings and love of that moment when the little baby girl’s were placed in our arms comes flooding back as if it were yesterday. Each and every one of our daughters is growing up to be a strong, confident, awesome young lady.
