Weight 234.5
Total gained since last week’s weighin 19.0 lbs.
My knees and hips are very, very painful today and definitely swollen. I can’t even bend my left knee to put my own pants on. Measurement: left knee (bigger of the two) is 22.5 inches (a half inch bigger then my head, which I don’t think is too healthy). I don’t have the heart to take any other measurements. My face though is feeling very stretched and the skin is almost painful to the touch, and looks very bloated (even my eye lids). There are few other painful things going on but I won’t bore with the details.
The past couple of weeks of unexplained weight gain have wiped out an entire year’s worth of weight loss. Here is a brief overview of weighins to document my weight gain saga:
- week 39 234.5 lbs
- week 84 my lowest weight so far on this since starting was 194.5
- week 87 weight 217.5, gained over two weeks that included 3 days with some indulgence for the Christmas & New Year holiday.
- Week 90, weight back down to 206 lbs.
- Week 91 last week up to 215.5 lbs., gained 9 lbs.
- Week 92 current weight 234.5, gained 19 lbs.
Total gained between week 85 and week 92 a whooping 40 lbs, with the biggest gains in the last 2 weeks.

All the supplements I ordered have arrived so I will start taking them today. Hopefully the herbal diuretics will help get rid of some of the fluid. (For a full list of the supplements see Preview for Weighin post.)
Food plan for the week: plain oatmeal (just water, cinnamon, and a splash of vanilla added), apples, and some veggies; total calories between 800 to 900 daily. (Note: some of supplements contain calories too so the total will be a bit higher, but I’m not going to count those yet unless I continue to gain.)
I will not give up!!!!!! I know I’m not eating anything that can cause this kind of weight gain. I will continue to eat healthy, I will continue to take care of my body and even though I know I need to exercise I just can’t right now. This last round of weight gain got worse soon after I started pushing myself to do the stairs every day while at work and now I can barely walk.
