Weight: 215.5 lbs – weight gained since last week’s weighin 9.5 lbs

WOW I haven’t been this BIG since week 53 when I weighed 216 lbs.    Part of me is horrified and part of me is amazed just how fast the weight gain happened and in a few short weeks my body has wiped out months of weight loss in the blink of an eye, and as far as I can tell there is no “food” reason that caused it.

Here is a brief summary of a few weeks just to document my weight gain saga:

  • week 53 216 lbs 
  • week 84 my lowest weight was 194.5
  • week 87 weight 217.5 gained over two weeks that included 3 days with some indulgence for the holidays.
  • Week 90, weight back down to 206 lbs.
  • Week 91 current weight back up at 215.5 lbs.

If I wasn’t so shocked and amazed, I think I’d be more upset.   But I’m deteremined to NOT let the scale affect my emotional well being.   However, if one more person tells me to eat more I may just have to go screaming in to the woods to prevent going postal – because I will definitely NOT be eating any MORE food.

I’m going to go to the health food store today for some dandelion root and essential fatty acid supplements.   I will stick with the apple and low fat yogurt for breakfast, baby carrots and other raw veggies for lunch, but not sure what else I’ll jave for dinner.   I would like to keep the oatmeal – I really enjoy it and it helps me keep my hunger under control.   But perhaps it’s the oatmeal that is contributing to the problem.  Protein shakes just make me hungry and I’m NOT going to go near soy (I did the whole soy thing back in the fall and ended up no losing and even gained a little then too).  I’ll figure something out or just stick with the oatmeal for now until I think of something else.
