Holiday Stress Diet
This diet is specially designed to help you manage the holiday stress:
Breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit, 1 slice whole wheat toast, 8 oz. skim milk
Lunch: 4 oz. lean broiled chicken breast, 1 cup steamed spinach, 1 cup herb tea, 1 Christmas cookie
Mid-Afternoon Snack: 1 dozen Christmas cookies, 2 pints Rocky Road ice cream with nuts, cherries, whipped cream and 1 jar hot fudge sauce, and a candy cane
Dinner: Nibble on appetizers, slowly sip a quart of eggnog, baked ham, mashed potatoes, lots of gravy, several rolls fresh from the oven and several more during dinner, skip dessert.
Midnight Snack: Left over ham sandwich, more eggnog, and a slice of all the left over pies and cakes.
