The typical approach to dieting is depriving yourself, thinking about what you can’t have and what foods to eliminate from your kitchen, and losing extra pounds.

Well no more! This holiday season and New Year as I plan my resolutions, I’m taking a different approach and looking to ADD to my life rather then deprive and take away my life. I’m giving myself the best gifts ever by ADDING positives to my life.  My first gift to myself is a positive self image and accepting myself just as am and loving my body as is.  I’m going to give myself the gift of more energy by adding more movement and activity to my daily life.  I’m going to give my self the gift of fullness - filling my life with simple pleasures that make me smile, warm my heart, and nurture my spirit.  I will take the time to engage in creative activities, visit with friends and family, read a good book, relax, explore new ideas and try new things.
