This year my list of resolutions is not so different from other years, except this year I’m going to focus on exercise more (and sticking with the food plan that I have been following based on the Rice House Diet).

Resolutions:

  1. Build up savings (I have set up a budget)
  2. Get house organized (I will be setting up a room by room outline and schedule for at least one project a week even if it’s something small)
  3. Continue getting healthier – eating for fuel and working up to exercise 5 times a week.

I’m going to keep my detailed “resolution to do” list simple and doable, and not beat myself up if I don’t make a deadline. As long as I’m steadily making progress on these three resolutions, I’m not going to worry about meeting a deadline.  I have decided that resolutions are not something worth getting stressed over.  My primary focus is to spend quality time with family and friends, that is what is most important.

I hope every one had a happy, fun and safe New Year’s!
