Tag your it, if you’d like to share your Dear Santa letter.
Now that Thanksgiving is over, I am starting to get in gear for the Christmas holidays so I thought it would be a good time to write my letter to Santa. If you would like to share yours too, let me know and I’ll add your link below.
Dear Santa:
I have been a very good girl this year. As a result of over 80 weeks of making healthy food choices most of my clothes are now falling off. I could definitely use some new pants and tops (my favorite color is purple). I’ve really learned a lot about healthy foods and eating right, but I still need help getting more exercise so to help me get excited about walking more - I would like a pair of Nordic Walking Traveller Poles
, and to help me get moving Samsung Ultra Slim MP3 Player
so I can take along some music while I walk. Also since I know I’m fussy about weather conditions (and I don’t like to walk in rain or heavy snow) - I really, really, really want a Mini Trampoline Cellerciser Rebounder Trampoline
, it is easy on the joints, gives an all over body workout, and looks like tons of fun! (and since it’s Christmas my wish is for the top of the line but a less expensive version would also be ok). Adding a fun element to both outdoor and indoor exercise I won’t have any excuses to stay on the couch.
Sincerely, Lady Rose
Update: Summer has a good post on Pedometers (studies show people who have a pedometer walk at least a mile more daily), so I’m going to add one to my xmas list, like this one Omron HJ-720ITC Pocket Pedometer with Advanced Omron Health Management Software - it has great reviews as being accurate and long lasting, with a nice feature of resetting itself to 0 at midnight (and keeps a record of up to 7 days walking history). This will make a great stocking stuffer too for friends and family..
I love books so I’m adding this one on my xmas list too: Pedometer Walking: Stepping Your Way to Health, Weight Loss, and Fitness.
My Christmas List Meme (links below to your list) - What is on your Christmas list this year? Are there any health, diet, or exercise related items on your list? If you have a post about your health or fitness Christmas wish list, let me know (email or in comments) and I’ll add a link here. (A link back would be appreciated, but optional.)

Oh this is so smart of you! Except for this fancy water bottle I saw in a magazine that tells you how much you drank, all I want to to get my knee better and start working out again. I think Santa and my doctor are in cahoots, so that should just work out fine.

I agree, great idea! Will have to start thinking!
I’ll start with “world peace,” think I’ll have much luck getting that?

A pedometer would be nice, but I just saw something amazing, called the Body Bugg, on the news the other night.
You wear it on your arm and it tells you how many calories you’ve burned and on the website, it helps you calculate how many calories you should be taking in and expending to reach your target goal weight.
It’s a bit pricey ($300 I think, plus $15/mo for the website service), but it may just be worth it. If Santa is real and he hears me, I want a Body Bugg for Christmas.
