This heavenly recipe is from a guest writer Shareta, of Making Me Happy blog. She has other recipes also on her blog. She tries them out and tweaks them to make them even better and the addition of photos really make for a nice touch.

Asian Spring Salad Dressing

4 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1/2 tsp minced ginger
1 clove of minced garlic
teeny bit of Asian hot sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 lime’s juice
Either: 1/4 tsp raw sugar or 1 tsp of a sweet fruit puree*

Combine ingredients and whisk.

*You can use 1 whole banana and 1 cored and sliced apple and 1 cup of water. Toss it into a blender and voila! Now you have sweet fruit puree that you can use instead of sugar. Sugar spikes insulin while a fruit puree would not be nearly as damaging. Store the puree in a sealable container and keep in fridge.

Meet the Author: (Making Me Happy ) Shareta - I am dieting. I couldn’t tell you what number this is on the dietometer, but I’m practically an old pro at 26. I take a lot of pictures of my food and I’m not afraid to experiment in the kitchen with new recipes. In fact, I love it. Sometimes I improvise; making up brand new recipes all on my own. I love posting these new recipes once or twice a week.”
