All I can say is, the party was a huge success and was better then anything I could have imagined. Most importantly the birthday girl (Angelgirl) had a smashing good time and an 11th birthday she will never forget.

Fatblogging Update: diet wise - I barely nibbled, I wasn’t even interested in food, I had so much to do - I had two protein Extend bars, a handful of plain air popped popcorn, a few baby carrots and a bowl of salad with diet dressing, one fingerfull of birthday cake (just to be sure it was ok). When we got home I did feel a bit hungry so I had a hardboiled egg sliced on two pieces of diet bread (40 calories each). We arrived at the firehouse at 10 a.m., party started at 1 p.m. and ended at 7 p.m., we got home by about 9:30 p.m. after cleaning up a bit - so I think I got in enough exercise being on my feet all day.

Today’s exercise includes walking along the parade my daughter is in - she is on her school’s twirling team and they are marching in the township Memorial Day parade. Then off to the firehouse to bring home all the decorations and finish cleaning up.

Lady Rose, Angelgirl, and Wizard!

To answer the burning question of the day: Did I taste that wonderful cake? Yes I did - but only a small finger full, I didn’t have a slice. It was very good. Luckily I was too tired and too busy to really think about cake. After the party we took a little home for my daughter to have, and the rest I sent home with my sister who has three kids and my brother and his son live there too, so lots of people to eat the rest of it.
