Yeah me! I did my Fluidity (fitness evolved) workout Monday night (that makes three so far) and I will do it again tonight.
I am enjoying it. The fluidity is a bar with a mat (like a dancer’s bar). The movements are subtle and not hard to do, but boy do you feel it. There is no bouncing on joints or over straining (you are encouraged to workout at your level). At 208 lbs I don’t bounce!
What I really like is that the instructor isn’t all perky and smiling and telling me to enjoy myself while I’m sweating and groaning. She is pleasant and encouraginng and acknowledges this is a work out, even she wipes her brow a bit.
What I’ve learned so far: my pelvis is my friend LOL (quote from the instructor) – makes me giggle.
My daughter now has a digital camera – uh oh! So who knows there may even be a future picture of me using it. (Don’t say you haven’t been warned!). We are also getting a kitten tomorrow (ugh more pet hairs – but the darn thing was so adorable we couldn’t resist it’s evil cuteness) – so excerise with a kitten could add a whole new dimension to things.
