One more time, I have gained weight again — this time it is 6 lbs. of (water) weight since Monday. I have been exercising every day – 20 mins on the stationary bike, and 35 reps on the core flex. My calories are the same between 800 and 900 (though one day I did have 1000 because of the extra 100 caloreis in a larger size Lean Cuisine meal).

At this point I have no clue what is causing it. I have not had any weight loss in several weeks (just going up and down but never below 234.5).

I am going to see when my insurance will pay for a complete physical (should be some time this spring (not sure exactly when I went to the new doctor last year). I am going to ask for a test for Candida Albicans (yeast infection which can make it impossible to lose weight). I am also going to have her check for chronic inflammation (I know I have some constant inflammation from all the pain I am in with the arthritis), and also my kidneys and bladder (I am having some of the same pain and symptoms as I did the last time I had kidney stones a couple years back). If all that turns out negative – I will also ask to have very in depth thyroid testing done. In the past all my blood work comes back normal for regular thyroid tests, but I’m willing to get tested for more in information if necessary.

For now I am going to stay strong and keep my calories on track. I will be increasing my time on the exercise bike 5 mins a week till I reach 60 minutes every day (or at least 6 out of 7 days) and I hope to get my reps on the flex up to at least 100, that will be slower though since I will be adding about 5 a week.

Staying focused, staying positive!!! I can do it!
