Weight 241
Total lost 15 lbs (from last week - so this would be all the weight I had gained for no reason over the past few weeks plus a little extra). This puts my weight at it’s lowest so far (week 23 I was 243, gained some for a few weeks, then week 26 243.5, then gained a lot last week).
When I first saw the scale Monday morning I thought it had to be a mistake - so I reweighed myself several times — I still didn’t believe it, so I waited until today and checked again — it is the same. Then I said OK, might as well post it, I guess that it’s right (at least for this week, who knows what next week will bring).
I am not going to get too excited, because I know how fast it can all come back for NO reason — but it was a pleasant surprise.
I have no clue what was causing the weight gain last few weeks, or why it all dropped last week - most of it of course is “water” weight — perhaps I was reacting to something I ate or had an inflammation going on or something *shrugs* — but all I know is I haven’t changed the way I am eating — it’s still between 800 and 900 calories a day.
I like to think the “magic” of losing weight this week was in the wonderful very low calorie soup Mama Kelly (my very best friend) made for me this past weekend — it was my first visit with her since my birthday and she made me a huge pot of yummy soup — which I am still having as left overs for lunch this week. She also got me meriange cookes (11 are only 70 calories). They were cocoa flavor and were a little bit of heaven. I had left overs of those too and when I got home I curled up with a good book (also a gift from Mama Kelly), and nibbled on my 11 cookies and felt like I was in heaven.
