Weight: 256 lb

(weight gained 12.5 lbs in a mere 7 days of dieting - may be a new record)

I did a little experimenting and increased my calories from Thurs. to Sun. up to about 1200 calories — and as you can see from the results — eating more to lose weight is not an option for me. I had already started gaining weight at the beginning of the week so figured what the heck I might as well put to the test once and for all the never ending advice telling me to eat more — I’m not surprised by the results at all.

So oh joy! I get to lose the same 12 lbs. all over again — each time it gets harder and harder, but it seems to be the pattern now no matter what I do or losing a few, gain it back and trying again and not making a headway — but hey at least I was able to put the theory to the test once and for all. I probably would have gained at least 6 or 7 of those lbs any way (since by Wed. of last week I had already gained 3 without the increase in calories).

Oh well — I will continue to follow and healthy eating plan and keep my calories to 800 - 900 a day, I have no other options that I can think of, I refuse to give up. Though I may remain an obese slug for the rest of my life losing\regaining and losing the same 5 to 10 lbs over and over again, at least I will have made healthy choices every day. I know, I sound a bit discouraged and I am a bit - but I won’t give up!

Struggling, but sticking with it.
