Weight 204, lost for the week 2 lbs.

At this stage of the journey, I am thrilled to lose 2 lbs in one week. The medically supervised diet I am on (week 2 now) is going great. I LOVE IT! I am not hungry — this is such a miracle I can’t even begin to tell you how thrilled I am. I have never in my entire life ever been on a diet and not been starving, and I’ve tried every diet out there over the last 35 years and nothing worked for me - I either didn’t lose or gained. Finally last year I developed my own plan and that finally resulted in over 80 lbs lost, but I had come to plateau that just wouldn’t budge for the past few months. I just wish I had gone on this program sooner and saved myself months and even years of frustration. Oh well, I’m on it now and feeling great and moving forward.
It is low calorie (under 1000 per day), pre-packaged for 5 meals, and I make one meal a day (which I cook ahead on the weekend and put in containers). It is so simple and I love not having to think about food. I can take this stuff any where.
I’m very confident I can reach my goal of a healthy weight in a reasonable amount of time.
Later today I’m off to spend an overnight with Mama Kelly (my best friend for almost 20 years!) - she is even busier then I am, she is going back to school for her teaching degree, as well working full time, and has a family and home to take of too. I am so proud of her for going to night school, I know how hard that is (it took me 11 years going at night to get my bachelor’s degree).
