Weight 207.5
0 lost overall, but down 1 more pound of the five gained two weeks ago from the one meal I had out with friends – still need to lose one more of that to get back to weight before the gain.
Having been on some kind of diet for about three decades now, this is my LAST healthy eating plan and it’s for a lifetime – so what I prefer to do is keep my start weight and weight loss tracked week by week and if I gain for no reason at all or for a reason (i.e. 1 meal) then I keep that weight gain in a separate column and subtract what I lose from that first, then get back to tracking it from the overall weight loss. It’s just my way of keeping sane so I don’t feel like I’m “failing” at weight loss yet again.
Calories this week averaged about 1200 a day with the new eating plan I started this week – very high for me (I usually do about 800 to 900). I will probably cut back some next week but plan on keeping to the basics – veggies, some lean protein, a little fruit. I really can’t just have veggies as a free food – physically I’ll gain and emotionally it’s too much of a slippery road.
It’s been three weeks now cutting out diet soda – none this week at all (only two the weeks prior). It’s not easy – part of me is still rebelling and pouting, after all I have given up every kind of food there is out there and I now I can’t have diet soda. But I am trying to keep that part of me calm and happy with crystal light for now though I know that has to go too – just don’t know how to give it all up yet – baby steps.
This isn’t a race, it’s about health. I know I’m eating better and feeling better and that is what is important!
