It’s day 4 of the current eating plan (which is more calories then I’m used too) – Here is the update – so far I’ve gain 1/2 lb, average calories each day 1200 – 1250.

Every Day Beverages – morning 1 cup of coffee with nonfat creamor; at work 64 ounces of crystal light; also a couple of cups of water from tap (I try to drink a cup of water when ever I am in the kitchen).

(Note: I’ve been off diet soda for over two weeks, previous two weeks only had 2 – 1 at the movies and 1 at a friend’s house. This week no sodas at all.)

Sunday – 1/2 c oatmeal with 1/4 c low fat soy milk, 1 apple; romaine lettuce with 2 hard boiled eggs and 2 servings low fat ranch dressing (60 calories); 1 c oatmeal with 1/2 low fat soy milk, 3 oz skinless chicken

Monday – 1/2 c oatmeal with 1/4 c low fat soy milk, 2 apple; 1 cucumber and 1 yellow squash with 2 servings low fat ranch dressing, 1 Extend protein bar (150 calories); romaine lettuce with handful of mushrooms and 3 oz skinless chicken; 1/2 c oatmeal with 1/4 low fat soy milk. (30 minutes – walking)

Tuesday – 1/2 c oatmeal with 1/4 c low fat soy milk, 2 apple; handful cherry tomatoes, 6 radishes and 1 yellow squash with 2 servings low fat ranch dressing, 1 Extend protein bar (150 calories); romaine lettuce with handful of mushrooms and 3 oz lean ground turkey; 1 Extend protein bar

Wednesday – 1/2 c oatmeal with 1/4 c low fat soy milk, 2 apple; handful cherry tomatoes, 6 radishes and 1 cucumber with 2 servings low fat ranch dressing, 1 Extend protein bar (150 calories); romaine lettuce with handful of mushrooms and 3 oz lean ground turkey; 1 serving yam (baked, plain) – since this is the fourth day it calls for a good carb — [cycling carbs to keep metabolism running]. (30 minutes walking)

The rest of the week through Saturday will be just about the same – I bought enough at the grocery store for one week.

I’m not too worried about the 1/2 lb gain, since I have the rest of the week to see how it all works out. I have been in the bathroom like crazy so I’m definitely getting rid of “water” — I usually go 2 or 3 times during the night, now I’m up 5 or 6 times so I’m a bit foggy and need a bit more sleep. During the day seems to be about the same, my usual trips to the ladies room every 2 to 3 hours.

I’ve been a bit more hungry then usual, the increased calories and variety of flavors I think is kicking in my hunger again but after 65 weeks eating light I can manage hunger when I need too – so I just drink lots and lots of water and keep one of my veggies or an apple handy.
