I found a wonderful resource blog I am adding to our list on the resource page here at the Diet Pulpit, it’s called Energise for Life, Health, Nutrition, Detox and Energy; created by brothers Callum and Ross. They are committed to building a community where like minded people can come together, learn from each other and share information; 70% of the site is about knowledge sharing and information, resources, recipes and guides and 30% is about the health and wellbeing products (their shop).
They have a down to earth approach to being healthy with a lot of sound advice without a lot of the confusing jargon. Their blog offers health news, alkaline diet resources and other tips.
Most of us want to eat healthier, and include more healthy food in our diets, but it can be very confusing and frustrating a reliable source to review these kinds of products is extremely useful. For example, staying alkaline is a great way to maintain health (and drop excess weight). I especially like their reviews of “green” products, like this one When is a Green Drink NOT a Green Drink? – just because a supplement or product says “green” and may even have a lot of healthy ingredidents, all it takes is one or two additives to make the product useless. Their Guide to Green Drinks is an easy to understand basic introduction to green drinks, they also have recipes for green drinks.
I truly believe that a healthy liver is a must for weight loss and health, and have booked their liver cleanse recipe to try.
I also want to give them a high five for their great post: Lemon Detox (don’t fall for it) – they really hit the nail on the head with this one, and offer healthier options for cleansing like their raw soup recipes.
