Do you ever find your head spinning wondering what is the best diet to be on? Almost daily it seems there is another new diet out there claiming to be the best.
So what is the best diet in the world? The easy answer is, what ever diet (healthy food plan) works for you. It could be high protein, low carb, some fats, very low fat, vegetarian, or any formal diet plan out there, 3 meals or 5 meals a day, or it could be a combination of the best of a few diets.
I’ve been dieting for over 30 years now, and tried just about every diet out there. What I found works for me is to put together my own food plan that is mostly based setting a limit to the amount of calories each day, and selecting what foods fit that calorie limit on the basis of a few good plans out there, as well as common sense (mainly my two favorites are The Rice House Diet and Burn the Fat).
When some one asks me what I did to lose over 80 lbs so far, I tell them – but I emphasis they should do some research and find what is best for them, not just copy what I did.
