Speak up for Self Esteem - a lesson of true beauty. Be warned you may need tissues, I tear up every time I watch it.

I strongly urge you to visit the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty Website, learn all you can and if possible host a self-esteem workshop (the dvd is FREE). It would make a great addtion to the next sleep over party! Let schools know about it, get one for free and give it to a teacher! Let girl scout leaders know about it!

Hug your kids, hug yourself. Teach your children self-esteem and acceptance. Promote awareness and true beauty. Stop the hate and the cruel words whenever you can.

This particular campaign features girls - but self-esteem is an issue for men and boys as well. The message is relevant to everyone so don’t let the fact that this particular video focuses on girls stop you from watching it or sharing it with the men or boys in your life.
