Weight 308 lbs, a total gain of 5 lbs.
Not “officially” dieting yet, but I was cutting back from the three meals this week. I still have time to lose the required 10 to 15 lbs before surgery, so not too worried yet. I was a little surprised at such a big gain, I figured I’d stay the same – but oh well, my body has a mind of it’s own.
I have started re-reading the book Green for Life. I have been interested in green smoothies for a long time, and I am hoping to incorporate them daily after I have the gastric bypass surgery. I am saving up to buy an awesome blender, and the one that seems the best for making the green smoothies, Blendtec Home The Professional’s Choice 1500-Watt Programmable Blender
.
Coming out in May 2009 (available for preorder) is another book by the author of Green for Life, Victoria Boutenko, Green Smoothie Revolution: The Radical Leap Toward Natural Health which will have a nice variety of 150 recipes.
Re: Comments – I have NO idea why comments are not working - I miss hearing from all of you and hopefully the problem will correct itself eventually.
UPDATE – COMMENTS ARE NOW WORKING AGAIN! Yippee and a big thank you to Saphyrm.
Currently Diet Pulpit is rarely updated. Lady Rose is now blogging at Blissful Moon, where she is staying healthy and continuing to have adventures, please stop by and visit.

Yeah. I’ve gained some back too. I’m trying something new. I’ll be posting about it soon on my blog.
