Nice post and well written.

This is disgusting. It embodies the same concept of the "prosperity doctrine" preached by so many pentecostal churches. The notion that God wants us to have material happiness, ie. loads of money, a nice body etc. is so sickeningly off the mark and ignorant that I feel better off not knowing about the existence of these 'ministries', or as some people put it: preachers of the word of the "lollypop Jesus". God is not a cash-cow for someone's dietary methods and financial advice. These churches are all gloss and no substance, and most certainly they are nothing more than lean, mean, cash-making machines.

Humility and simplicity would be so refreshing in the face of this garbage.
