One job of the vice presidency is to be prepared in the event that something happens to the president, and she is NOT qualified. Some people can relate to her, and that's fine. But being able to relate to someone is not a good enough reason for such a powerful office without some gravitas. Besides, the investigation in Alaska shows that she is power-hungry and not above using her power to settle scores. Worst of all, she combines insularity and ignorance with her lust for power. We've had 8 years of it with GW Bush. Memorizing is no substitute for actually knowing about national and international afffairs. We can all feel assured McCain will not be asking her advice - BUT can we all be assured of McCain not kicking the bucket? Then who makes those decisions - Governor Avon Lady with her winks and notecards? What if he didn't leave enough notecards for her to refer to for every situation that may come up as President.
