For today’s enjoyment a MEME and a joke. I chose one my favorite blogger’s Brahnamin Cat & Mouse meme #3 to participate in - it will give readers a little more insight to the Diet Pulpit and the slightly askew mind behind it.

Click HERE for the promised joke - it made me giggle so I thought I would share.

Thank you to Brahnamin for a new Meme to play with

Link 5 posts from your blog that you particularly enjoy or are proud of :

- Honesty Challenge (are you brave enough?)
- Do you really know Hunger? - stop the waste!
- Easter Snack Help - alternative to high calorie jelly beans
- The New Scale - salesmen have no sense of humor.
- Information Page(s) on the Best Ever Harry Potter Party - all about the great party we had for my daughter. (This is on my other blog but so much love and time was put into it, it is one of my top favorites things I’ve ever posted.

Top 4 reads on your blogroll :
- Big Fat Deal
- Cranky Fitness
- Lose Weight Now
- My Pet Fat
(It was hard to pick just four - since I enjoy all the blogs in the blogroll or they wouldn’t be there!)

3 things your readers need to know about you if they are to have any hope understanding your blog :
- I’m over 50, reliving my “hippy” days, refusing to grow up, in the process of losing over 100 lbs (or whatever amount it takes to get healthy), so I’m sometimes cranky. [80ish lost so far, 70ish to go]
- I am often silly, sometimes opionated, but really a very nice person.
- I genuinely care about people, enjoy a good conversation and\or debate, (but have little tolerance for ignorance or rudeness), and I want to be on Oprah! hehehe

2 things you refuse to blog about
- Politics - I’m extremely liberal and if I got started it would be hard to stop - I’d have to change the name of the blog to something like Lady Rose’s Political Soapbox - and trust me, no one wants that.
- Anything too Personal about my family - I am respectful of their privacy so I try not to blog about anything that might embarrass them (unless I have their permission).

Your blog in a nutshell (no Austin Powers knockoff jokes, please)
The Diet Pulpit is about living life to the fullest, enjoying every moment regardless of size, and to stop all the diet craziness, instead focus on health, happiness and humor. If I can help even one person to make their health the #1 priority I will be happy, though I’d like for everyone to make Health #1.

There you have it, more then you probably wanted to know about this blog and me (the famous Lady Rose with the F.A.T. Attitude!)
