Here is a nice list of ways to get through the day feeling less hungry - which is always a good thing. Some may be familiar, but probably some new ideas too.
25 Diet Tricks to Convince Your Body It’s Not Hungry
One of my favorites from this list is “take a nap” - do you think my boss would let me take a nap at 3 p.m. if I tell him it’s good for my healthy eating plan?
A good idea is print the list out and keep it handy so you can plan before you get hungry. But be sure to eat healthy and regularly - do NOT use these tips to skip a meal. But if you know that you not really hungry or in need of nutrition, but are feeling “hungry” out of boredom, habit, stress or emotional reasons then give some of these tips a try and see what works best for you.

Hmmm… Most of those tips are great, but some I don’t agree with with. Convincing your body you’re not hungry by eating (granted veggies) is still EATING. Chewing gum on an empty stomach is bad for the lining of your stomach because of the acids your stomach will produce in response to the chewing motion, which would be way bad for those with ulcers!! And didn’t we all learn as kids that chewing on ice is bad for our teeth? Is that still true?
Other tips were great, but maybe change the title because the title is wrong and misleading…

I try to myself that I need to figure out if I am brain hungry or stomach hungry. Do I actually physically need something to eat or am I eating for some other reason?
