No More Excuses – Topic: Exercise (Part Two)
Another common excuse I hear a lot is No Money for Equipment (or the gym) - This is an excuse I hear over and over again - and a lot of what is posted in Part One, holds true for this excuse too — for example: walking is FREE! Granted it can get a little boring or the weather is too hot, too cold etc. But there are tons of ways to get in some exercise that cost nothing or very little.

Waistloss always has something unusual up his sleeve for exercise - the latest is Stick Wrestling.
Also remember housework burns a LOT of calories. Playing with your kids is free and a lot more fun then housework. Crank up some tunes and DANCE around the house (the kids love this too.)
You could mow the neighborhood lawns and weed their gardens, shovel snow in winter, clean out garages, clean house gutters, babysit (get out and play with the kids and not just sit them in front of the TV) - you can do it for free for friends and family or for a bit of cash from others - so you not only get exercise, but a little cash to buy healthy food, new sneakers, or a cute exercise outfit.
If you still have your heart set on a piece of equipment you could also check out the newspaper or yard sales for used equipment. You could ask around and perhaps borrow something from some one you know who isn’t using it, and offer to houseclean or baby sit in exchange.
To sum up, this excuse is one that has to be tossed out. It isn’t going to work any more. You can’t weasel out of exercise with this excuse any more. So suck it up, get up off your butt and get movin’!
