Weight - 284.5 gain 5 lbs. Not bad for a person who is trying to shred a few pounds - it could have been more, like the time I gained 9 lbs over night - so I won’t complain.

Breakfast and lunch all week - apples, bananas, baby carrots, dinners bowl of oatmeal with splenda and splash of nonfat creamor. One lunch - a chicken sandwich from cafeteria a work (hubby surprised me by coming up for lunch), and one dinner out at a restaurant (hubby wanted to go out to eat to celebrate) - salad, meatballs with a little pasta. Beverages - coffee in the morning (spenda, nonfat creamor, 2 diet sodas, water)

Well it’s good to know my body is behaving as expected - massive weight gain from just two regular meals this week. After all if things had changed that would mean the world as I know it had changed or the earth had less gravity or I had stepped into an alternative reality.

So staying focused on the positive - I am going to be grateful that all is right with my world because my body consistently packs on the tons.

In other news, I am switching to a new cardiologist. I will be going to my mom’s cardilologist for my first appointment Oct. 24. I got my records from my old cardiologist, but I still have to see my primary for a referral. I told my primary’s office that I see the cardologist every 3 go 6 months for two years now and I just need the referral - but they are insisting I also have to come in for an appointment with them so they know there is a reason for the referral. I said, just look in my folder I have congestive heart failure - it’s right there! I need to see the heart doctor regularly. But now that isn’t good enough - they have to confirm that I actually have a heart problem after two years now I still have to argue and convince them that I will NEED to see the heart doctor regularly. Oh well, it’s just one more hoop I need to jump through every few months, after all the primary doctor probably has a yacht or something to pay off and I want to do my part to help her get every dime she can to pay for it so I’ll drag my butt in there, let her look at my chart, say the words over and over again until she puts two and two together and the light bulb goes off and I get my little piece of paper giving me permission to see the heart doctor.

Do I sound cranky? I guess I am a little cranky, but I’ll get over it. Tomorrow is a new day, I’ll cut back from two apples to one, from one banana to a half, and instead of two handfuls of baby carrots I’ll have just one handful. If I could I would stop eating all together, but unfortunately that isn’t an option.

Health and happiness, Lady Rose
