Ghost Hunters (available on dvd)
I am a huge fan of Ghost Hunters . The new season started tonight. The TAPS team investigated a small museum and got some very interesting EVPs on tape. One voice they caught on tape was very clear, and told them to “leave me alone.” They also use an electronic piece of equipment that flashes lights if something “unseen” passes in front of it. They were getting a lot flashes in response to their requests and questions.
It’s always fun when TAPS catches something on audio or visual tape. But I enjoy the show even when they don’t find anything. If they found something each and every show, I would start to doubt their results because not every place is haunted and ghosts do not perform on command.
I definitely believe in ghosts. I have had several personal experiences many years ago, but nothing in last decade or so.

We watch it too. It is one of our favorite shows! My wife and I actually started getting goose-bumps. I really liked the part when he was looking in the attic and something started to come right at him. Yes, I have encountered them on several occasions. Most recently, about 2 years ago.

I think most of what they do find as “ghost” is the residual haunting type (where it’s just the emotional imprint left behind) – but every once in awhile you get the intelligent kind and those are the ones that really interest me.
I so wish they had a camera up there when those footsteps were running towards him!

My brother saw a shadowy figure on top of me trying to pull my cross off… and he couldn’t move or shout at that moment. This happened when I was in high school. Scary, eh?
