No doctor should ever ignore symptoms like those! My real mom and my grandmother had congestive heart failure for various reasons and frankly, those are not symptoms that should ever be ignored. In fact they had to weigh themselves daily and go directly to the ER if they gained even ONE pound in a 24 hour period. Good doctors are very hard to find anymore. :( The ones they're turning out now from the medical schools are just terrible - no bedside manner, always in a hurry, and none of them listen to anything.
