There is only ONE reason we should eat - to nourish our bodies with healthy fuel. But we all know we consume tons of food for a 1000 different reasons, and very often we confuse hunger with other needs and emotions.
Some of the reasons I used to over eat (and am still coping with from time to time, old habits die hard) - stress, boredom, habit, cravings, etc.
There are some physcial reasons the body feels hunger but isn’t hungry. The body sends out signals and we interpret it as hunger, but our bodies could be thirsty, over tired, or in need of more nutrients (instead of empty calories).
