Cheez-It made me the most popular person in the office today. I put some of the new Reduced Fat White Cheddar Cheez-It crackers in a large zip lock bag (so no one would know they were low fat) and let every one have a sample. People kept stopping by my desk all morning asking for another taste. No one knew they were low fat, and everyone said they were delicious.
My family enjoyed them also. Hubby likes to add Cheez-It crackers to his salad instead of croutons. My daughter likes them with her soup and sandwish. Having a low-fat variety that is very tasty is nice option (these have 40 percent less fat).
They are light, crunchy and just the amount of cheesy deliciousness. The overall consensus is they have a very nice taste, and were not overly salty. This was a pleasant surprise, because a lot of times when something goes low fat, they make up for it with more salt. Also there was no unpleasant after taste, as sometimes happens with a low fat version.

Remember, all snacks in moderation, even when reduced fat. Low fat does not mean low in calories. 25 crackers = 140 calories. I recommend for all snacks that when you bring it home you divide the contents into individual snack bags as soon as you can. That way when you grab a snack you already have a measured portion ready.
Rating 3 halos overall (and 5 halos for taste)
