I’d rather be back at the Renaissance Faire!

Ugh! The first day back from a vacation is always the worst. The pile on my chair and desk almost make me feel like it wasn’t worth taking a few days off, because I’ll be paying for it for several days trying to get caught up. Being tired and still sore doesn’t help either, I’m moving even more slowly then usual with all the added aches and pains.

But I wouldn’t have missed my vacation for the world. Whenever I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed in my little cubicle, I just picture the pirates, the jousting, the falcons, and the cast of other characters at the Ren. faire and smile.

On the plus side, a lot of work means job security. If I came back and there was nothing for me to do, they might think they don’t need me any more. So it’s good to be a needed part of the cubicle mass of productivity.

I shall slay this mass of parchments upon my desk with a smile on my face and a rousing Hazzah! while daydreaming of knights, wizards, jugglers, and other forms of faire merriment.

Health and Happiness, Lady Rose
